Лицо или компания, обладающая лицензией уполномоченного органа государства на ввоз и таможенную очистку товаров. Таможенный представитель является посредником, который в соответствии с лицензией, имеет право от собственного имени или от имени представляемого лица совершать любые операции по таможенной очистке товаров и выполнять другие посреднические функции в области таможенного дела за счет и по поручению представляемого лица, неся при этом полную ответственность, как если бы он самостоятельно перемещал товары через таможенную границу
